Maddocks has been recognised at this year's Finance Monthly Law Awards as Banking & Finance Law Firm of the Year, Australia.
The Finance Monthly Law Awards honour professional services firms that consistently demonstrate excellence, innovation, depth of expertise and achieve outstanding results for their clients.
Employer of Choice for Women
Maddocks was again this year recognised as an EOWA Employer of Choice for Women, affirming that the firm offers equal opportunity to all its people irrespective of gender.
Maddocks is one of only four law firms to have won the award issued by the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Agency (EOWA) for the seventh consecutive year.
Fair & Flexible Employer Recognition Award
For the second consecutive year, Maddocks is one of only a few fair and flexible employers recognised by the Victorian Government’s Working Families Council for developing innovative programs and practices to improve the work and family balance of their employees.
BRW Client Choice Awards
In 2011 Maddocks were finalists in the prestigious BRW Client Choice Awards in two categories:
- Best Law Firm ($50M - $200M)
- Best Provider rated by Government and Community Sector
This award further demonstrates Maddocks' committment to being the best law firm and leading Australian law firm in the government sector.
ALB Fast Ten
Maddocks garnered a place in Australasian Legal Business Fast 10 2008 — a list of fastest–growing law firms in Australia and New Zealand. The ranking was based on 2006/07 fee growth, as well as increased numbers of partners, fee earners and offices.
ACOMM Award – Professional Services
Maddocks was announced the winner of the Professional Services Award at the prestigious 2010 ACOMM Awards. Maddocks was the only law firm to win an award at the 2010 industry event.
The award recognises Maddocks' efforts in assisting clients responding to the changing communications landscape, including advising clients in relation to the National Broadband Network.
International Standards Organisation certification
