About Alicia

Alicia specialises in all aspects of commercial property transactions, including property-related restructuring, turnaround and insolvency matters and energy and resources land tenure issues. Alicia is highly experienced in acquisitions and disposals of real estate, regularly advising developers, owners, fund managers, investors and government authorities on industrial, commercial, retail and hotel acquisitions, disposals and development, large scale residential and ‘mixed use’ developments, industrial, commercial and ‘anchor tenant’ retail leasing, property management, joint venture and co-ownership arrangements and major infrastructure projects. Alicia has acted for a range of clients across the public and private sector.

Experience

  • Greenland Group

    Advising on the development and off-the-plan sale of apartments at Greenland Centre Sydney and the negotiation of a 99 year lease of a Creative Hub to Sydney City Council, acting on the acquisition of the Lachlan’s Line development site from UrbanGrowth and acting on the acquisition and development of the Omnia Potts Point, including acting on the off the plan sales of the residential apartments and retail shops in the mixed use development.

  • Inner West Council (formerly Marrickville Council)

    Advising on the redevelopment of the Marrickville Hospital site, including drafting and negotiating the property components of the development agreement with Mirvac including land transfer provisions and titling provisions and drafting and negotiating easements.

  • Lendlease Group

    Acting on a wide range of property transactions including commercial and industrial leasing, acquisitions and disposals and providing strategic advice on the on-going management of development sites.

  • RMS

    Advising on the development, leasing, title structuring and ongoing management of dryland and wetland properties at King Street Wharf, Walsh Bay, Jones Bay, Pyrmont Bay, Rozelle Bay, Berrys Bay, Botany Bay and Manly Wharf including drafting and negotiating leases, drafting and negotiating easements, drafting and negotiating licences, providing advice regarding contract interpretation, advising on default and dispute issues relating to leases and development agreements and providing strategic advice on management and development issues.

    Advising on various property aspects of the Wynyard Station Upgrade, including drafting and negotiating an access and relationship agreement with adjoining owners/developers, a licence agreement with a telecommunications carrier and easements regarding related infrastructure.
