Suzanne frequently represents and advises Victorian statutory authorities and local government authorities.

Relevant Experience
Suzanne has conducted proceedings in the Supreme Courts in Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales and Queensland, the Federal Court, the High Court, and before specialist tribunals including the Commonwealth Administrative Appeals Tribunal. Her experience includes:
- Advising landlord clients on responding to numerous misleading and deceptive conduct claims by shopping centre tenants.
- Acted for a shopping centre landlord client on a number of court proceedings against tenants for rental arrears and other claims.
- Advising a director and shareholder of a telecommunications industry company on potential derivative and shareholders oppression actions against other shareholders and directors.
- Acting as primary adviser to a national manufacturing corporation and regularly advising on contractual and trade practices/product liability issues.
- Advising an Australian division of an international payment card issuer and supplier to the payments industry world-wide, in relation to the breach of a software supply contract.
- Acting for a superannuation fund trustee in court proceedings involving a complex and ground-breaking claim by a fund member. Suzanne instructed in the court proceedings, producing evidence which convinced the member to enter into a settlement agreement during the trial and enabled the client to avoid an adverse judgment and potential further claims on the fund.

Acting for a leading global provider of security technology products and services in New South Wales court proceedings relating to a defective product claim. Suzanne convinced our client's insurers to grant indemnity and take over the defence of the court proceedings prior to mediation.
