
Background
Peter has practised construction law since 1990, firstly in London and then from 1995 in Sydney. He advises owners, developers and major contractors as well as financial institutions and government instrumentalities on all aspects of construction projects. He has drafted project agreements for aged care, commercial, industrial, residential and retail developments and has given seminars on various aspects of contract administration.
Peter also acts for a wide range of clients in dispute resolution procedures including litigation, arbitration, references and expert determinations, as well as before experts, referees and arbitrators. He has represented clients in major disputes within NSW and other states, including South Australia and Queensland.
Peter has considerable experience in adjudications under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payments Act (NSW) and has been involved in leading cases.
