The only legal firm in Australia with a team dedicated to the emergency services industry operating at a national level, Maddocks has acted for a number of fire services for the past 15 years and understand these organisations and their operating environments.
Maddocks represented the Country Fire Authority in the 2009 Victorian Bushfires Royal Commission.and acted for for the Macedon Ranges Shire Council following the Ash Wednesday bushfires. The firm also acts for the Australasian Fire Authorities Council (AFAC), Country Fire Authority (CFA), Metropolitan Fire Brigade (MFB), the State Emergency Service (VIC SES) and the Bushfire Co-operative Research Centre (Bushfire CRC).
