Michelle Dixon – Partner & Chief Executive Officer
Michelle is Maddocks’ Chief Executive Officer. She was appointed to the role following 18 years with the firm, including 13 as a partner and a period leading the firm’s Dispute Resolution & Litigation team. She was reappointed for a further three years in 2017. Michelle works with the Board and partnership to set and deliver the strategic direction for the firm. Her career to date has been punctuated by numerous industry awards including being listed as a leading litigation lawyer in the 2017 edition of Best Lawyers. She has also been recommended each year for dispute resolution in Asia Pacific Legal 500 – a client guide to the world’s best law firms since 2011. In 2015, Michelle was named one of the Australian Financial Review’s 100 Women of Influence and in 2016, she was awarded the Victorian Award for Excellence in Women’s Leadership. Michelle was also named Executive of the Year at the Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards in 2016.
Michelle is a CEO ambassador for WGEA’s national pay equity campaign.
Catherine Saliba – Chief Operating Officer
Catherine was welcomed to the Maddocks team in 2006 as Financial Controller, and shortly thereafter undertook the role of Director, Finance. Her remit recently expanded to oversee both Finance and Operations for the firm. Catherine brings to Maddocks a raft of experience in financial management, analysis, and operations, and works closely with her diverse team to deliver surety to our Partners and clients.
Kirsten Lange – Director, People & Culture
Kirsten joined Maddocks in late 2015 as Director of People & Culture and is responsible for the strategic and operational delivery of People & Culture services to support the business, consistent with the firm’s strategy and values. Prior to joining Maddocks Kirsten was part of the Executive Leadership team at a leading global Professional Services firm and responsible for the HR function. In this role Kirsten led the design and delivery of the HR strategy, leadership and talent management as well as the cultural design and integration of acquisitions and restructures.
Louise Wilkinson – Director, Business Development, Communications & Marketing
Louise initially joined Maddocks at the turn of the millennium as the Director, Business Development & Marketing. During this period, Louise was part of the leadership team responsible for repositioning the Maddocks brand including the transition from Maddock Lonie & Chisholm to Maddocks as well as embedding a strong client-centric focus across the firm. Opportunities abroad took Louise to Hong Kong, where she led Asia Pacific teams at both a global law firm and one of the world’s ‘Big 4’ accounting firms. In 2013, Louise returned to Maddocks and is responsible for advising the partners in all aspects of the firm’s brand, clients and market facing strategy.
Bradley Kay – Chief Information Officer
Bradley joined Maddocks in 2017. As CIO, Bradley leads our information technology team and is involved in helping to drive the firm’s innovation strategy. He brings to Maddocks more than 20 years of experience in leading technological change at some of Australia’s leading professional service firms and companies. Immediately before joining Maddocks, Bradley was the CIO at accounting and auditing firm Pitcher Partners. He has also had leadership roles at KPMG and Spotless Group.
