We believe people perform better when they can bring their whole self to work. Maddocks Pride aims to promote a sense of acceptance and belonging to LGBTI staff and partners at Maddocks.
The Maddocks Pride initiative was launched in 2016 after Maddocks became a member of Pride in Diversity.
Maddocks Pride’s objectives are to encourage and support the LGBTI members of the Maddocks family by:
- creating and maintaining an environment where all Maddocks partners and staff can bring their whole selves to work regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation and
- providing business development and networking opportunities to develop their professional relationships both externally and internally, and to engage with the broader community.
Maddocks Pride is governed by a committee of employees and partners within Maddocks and supports the Diversity and Inclusion Committee and management, which drive our inclusion programs and training.
Maddocks Pride hosts a number of events each year, some of which have a charitable aspect. Through Maddocks Pride events, the firm has donated to worthy causes such as Minus18 and the National LGBTI Health Alliance.
