National Gallery of Victoria

Maddocks partnered with the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) from 2008 – 2013 in a variety of different ways.

In 2008, we were a Hospitality Partner and enjoyed discovering the Jazz age at the Art Deco exhibition that explored the period spanning the roaring 1920s and the 1930s.

In 2009, we were an Event Sponsor of the Art After Dark series, during the Salvador Dali: Liquid Desire exhibition, and were captivated by Dali’s extraordinary creativity using any media he had to hand.

In 2010, we were the Support Sponsor of the Ron Mueck exhibition and were fascinated by the supremely life-like sculptures.

After a hiatus in 2011, we partnered again with the NGV as Support Sponsor for Napoleon: Revolution to Empire, a panoramic exhibition examining French art, culture and life from the 1770s to the 1820s.

We partnered with the NGV for the Australian Impressionists in France exhibition in 2013, which told the story of the Australian artists who lived in France during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

Our partnerships are designed to involve everyone at Maddocks from its support teams to partners. The activity program we develop gives everyone the opportunity to enjoy these popular exhibitions.
