Leading law firm Maddocks has been shortlisted for the ACOMMS Communications Alliance and CommsDay Awards (Awards) 2015 in the Services to Industry – Professional services category.

The Awards, a collaboration of Communications Alliance and Communications Day, recognise excellence in the wider communications industry, rewarding and profiling companies which have excelled within the industry around the nation.

Maddocks has demonstrated its interest in adding long-term value to the industry in delivering the Technology Procurement Handbook, a detailed guide to assist governments and private entities engaging in the technology procurement or outsourcing process.

Maddocks partner Jeff Goodall comments, “Technology procurement is a critical issue. We developed the Handbook to assist clients engage in ‘smart’ technology and procurement outsourcing that can transform and empower their organisations.”

Maddocks remains committed to fostering industry knowledge and the development of skills by providing a best practice approach to technology procurement. The firm also contributes to the growth and development of the telecommunications industry through the support of a number of strategic industry partnerships, which are aimed at facilitating debate and promoting development in the industry.

The winners will be announced at the Awards evening in Sydney on 16 July. Maddocks won the Services to Industry – Professional Services award in both 2010 and 2012.

The firm’s Sector Leader – Technology Brendan Coady offers, “These awards are used to benchmark services against leaders in the industry. They highlight outstanding achievements of individuals, suppliers, vendors or professional services providers.
