Maddocks sponsors 2016 SOUL Conference

Partner Gina Wilson and special counsel Siobhan Andersen represented Maddocks at the 2016 SOUL Conference on the Gold Coast last month, where they shared their insights on anti-bribery and corruption and unfair contract terms with other university lawyers and in-house counsel.

Held 27 – 28 October, the annual two-day conference brought together university lawyers from around the country to talk about issues in the sector. This is the 3rd year Maddocks has been a sponsor of this preeminent industry event.

After presenting to the conference on anti-bribery and corruption, partner Gina Wilson was later joined by Siobhan Andersen in an interactive poster session, where they spoke about recent changes to unfair contract term laws, and some of the strategies universities can adopt to deal with them.
