Glasgow COP26 | A summary of the key outcomes

This report highlights the key outcomes of the UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) including urgent action, targets and emissions, methane emissions, deforestation, coal and fossil fuels, energy transition, adaptation and mitigation finance, loss and damage, clean technology and the Paris Rulebook.

The UK hosted the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow on 31 October – 12 November 2021 in partnership with Italy. The main purpose of the conference was to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement, produced at COP21 in 2015.
