Maddocks advises Audinate Group Limited on capital raising of up to $40 million
Maddocks has advised Australian audio visual technology company Audinate Group Limited on its latest capital raising which was again oversubscribed.
Audinate, a global leader in AV technology, has raised $28 million through a fully underwritten institutional placement that was launched on 23 July 2020. The company is subsequently offering eligible shareholders to take part in a share purchase plan that could raise up to a further $12 million. The capital raised will be used to (amongst other purposes) fund the continuing growth of the company.
The Maddocks team on this matter was partner Catherine Merity, special counsel Rosa Sayer and lawyer Miles Tuckfield.
This firm is pleased to once again assist Audinate as it continues to pursue its successful growth strategies. In June 2019, Maddocks assisted Audinate on a successful $20 million institutional placement and $4 million share purchase plan. Catherine and Rosa also advised Audinate on its IPO in 2017.
This is the latest in a string of capital raisings for technology companies that the Maddocks Equity Capital Markets team has worked on over the past two years.
