Law firm Maddocks has advised one of Australia’s leading independent specialist trustee companies, Equity Trustees, on its acquisition of Zurich Australian Superannuation Pty Ltd.
Zurich Australian Superannuation is the superannuation trustee for the Zurich Master Superannuation Fund, which has approximately $1 billion in funds under trusteeship.
The deal was completed this month.
The Maddocks team on the matter was led by special counsel Mick Garner, and included partners Julian Smith and Ron Smooker, special counsel Paul Ellis and associate Melissa Ramov.
