Maddocks has advised Swoop Holdings Limited (ASX:SWP), an Australian telecommunications company providing fibre and fixed wireless infrastructure, on the sale of its wholesale voice business, Voicehub, to Pivotel Group Pty Ltd.

Corporate Partner Catherine Merity led the deal for Maddocks with support from Senior Associate Tanja Maley and Lawyer Ashish Achar.

This latest deal is one of many strategic transactions in which Maddocks has advised Swoop over the past three years since Maddocks assisted Swoop with its ASX listing in May 2021, including a series of acquisitions focusing on its core residential and SME focused business.

Speaking about the transaction, Catherine said: “We were very pleased to work with the Swoop team again on this transaction, which will provide Swoop with balance sheet flexibility and funding growth across its core businesses.”
