Maddocks advises US tech company on ASX listing
Law firm Maddocks has advised US-based technology company Revasum on its IPO and listing on the Australian Securities Exchange

Law firm Maddocks is advising US-based technology company Revasum on its IPO and listing on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).
The prospectus for the semiconductor manufacturer based in California went live on Friday with the listing to follow in early December at a market capitalisation of $150 million. The $30 million offering is fully underwritten by Moelis Australia and Shaw and Partners.
The core Maddocks team on this matter was Equity Capital Markets partner Catherine Merity, special counsel Rosamond Sayer and lawyer Jordan Reid.
This is the second listing of a US-based tech company that Maddocks has advised on this year. In July, the firm acted for Silicon Valley-based semiconductor manufacturer Pivotal System on its successful IPO and ASX listing.
Catherine said both listings showed that despite some recent uncertainty in the market for IPOs in Australia, there was still demand for companies with strong fundamentals.
‘The ASX is pitching itself as a destination for tech companies from around the world to list and this is further proof that that pitch is a good one’.
‘I was part of an ASX delegation to the US in October to pitch the ASX as a destination for investment. We visited tech companies and conducted workshops, and the feedback we got was very positive.’
