Maddocks appoints four partners in latest round of promotions
Maddocks continues to grow with the appointment of four new partners and the promotion of 43 lawyers from 1 July.
Adam Jaques, Julian Law, Michael Nicolazzo and Joshua Same will be appointed to the Maddocks partnership from next month.
Adam is a member of the Development team in Melbourne, advising local and overseas property developers, landlords, tenants, owners corporations and private clients on a wide range of development and property related projects and transactions, particularly in regional areas including his home town of Geelong.
Joshua works in the Sydney Public Law team and advises public and private sector clients on environmental and planning law matters, with a focus on environmental regulation, waste contracts, contaminated land regulation and transactions, and local government procurement, projects and operations.
Michael is part of the Melbourne Employment, Safety & People team and provides practical, commercial and strategic advice for a range of private and public sector clients on industrial relations matters, enterprise agreements and bargaining, equal opportunity and discrimination, contracts of employment, disciplinary proceedings, restraints of trade, transfers of business, unfair dismissal claims and general protections matters.
Julian is a member of the Corporate and Commercial team in Sydney and advises private equity firms, founders and the Australian arms of global corporations and funds. His practice spans private and public M&A, shareholder and joint venture arrangements, corporate restructures, foreign investment in Australia and commercial trading terms.
Their appointments continue the growth of the Maddocks partnership, with Rosalie Byrne, Meaghan Bare, Ilan Kraus and Cameron Thomson joining the Maddocks partnership in recent months.
Maddocks Chairman Mark Henry congratulated the four new partners on reaching this significant career milestone.
