Maddocks has further strengthened its market-leading Employment, Safety and People team with the appointment of special counsel, Taboka Finn.

Taboka brings almost 15 years’ experience advising on the full spectrum of employment law issues, including issues related to contracts, entitlements, discrimination and performance management. Taboka also advises on transfer of business, redundancy and termination issues.

Taboka has experience in conducting workplace reviews on compliance with workplace laws, with a particular focus on the prevention of bullying and other forms of discrimination and harassment. She is also an experienced litigator, having defended complex matters before the Fair Work Commission, the Supreme Court of Victoria and the Federal Court.

Maddocks welcomes Taboka, who started with the firm in the last week, from employment law specialists Justitia.

Maddocks partner and head of the Melbourne Employment, Safety and People team, Catherine Dunlop, said Taboka is an outstanding addition to the team.

‘Taboka has vast experience advising both public and private sector clients on matters of great sensitivity and importance to the effective running of their organisations,’ Catherine said.

‘Taboka takes a proactive approach and she is valued by her clients for spotlighting and solving possible issues before they arise.’

More information on Taboka is available on the Maddocks website.
