Founded in Bondi Beach in 2012, Bailey Nelson has rapidly grown into a global eyewear retailer and service provider with boutiques in Australia, London, Canada and New Zealand.
The strong demand for their products and services needed an expansion strategy that would facilitate this growth but allow them to maintain control over the brand which was at the core of their success.
Maddocks worked closely with Bailey Nelson to understand their business, operations and future plans. We provided guidance on pros and cons of several expansion options, including franchising, licensing, joint ventures, corporate boutiques and other more unique models. As a result of this, we were able to develop a tailored structure and draft documents purpose designed to meet their needs. We were also able to assist Bailey Nelson implement the same structure in New Zealand, providing consistency across jurisdictions.
