Shaun Temby recognised as one of Australia’s ‘Most Influential Lawyers’

Maddocks Dispute Resolution & Litigation Partner Shaun Temby has been named as one of Australia's Most Influential Lawyers for 2022 by Australasian Lawyer - one of 29 to have made the annual list.

Shaun has an in-depth understanding of competition and consumer law and litigation and regularly acts for clients at all levels in matters Involving restrictive trade practices and consumer law in Australia. He has also focused on retail and commercial leasing matters, leading large scale commercial and contractual disputes.

Announcing the 2022 list, Australasian Lawyer described Shaun as "highly regarded for his legal knowledge, strategic advice and negotiating skills".

Based in the Maddocks Sydney office, Shaun has also recently taken on a new role as the Sydney Partner in Charge.

His Influence in the legal community goes beyond his legal matters, reflected by his deep commitment to driving legal innovation, and policies supporting diversity and inclusion. Until very recently Shaun was the Head of Innovation at Maddocks, and has provided continual input into the firm's LGBTQI initiatives and internal diversity and Inclusion policies.

Shaun has been involved In key thought leadership initiatives for the firm including producing the annual Australian Competition and Consumer Commission Year In Review, and is consistently recognised by leading International legal directories.
