Law firm Maddocks has appointed Maryam Minai as a special counsel in its Development team.
Maryam joins Maddocks from leading property developer Caydon Property Group. Before that, Maryam worked in-house at Australia Post and was a lawyer at King & Wood Mallesons and Norton Rose Fulbright.
Maryam, who started with the firm in Melbourne this week, has more than 12 years’ experience advising on real estate, construction and infrastructure projects and matters.
Maddocks partner and head of the Development practice, Nick Holuigue, said Maryam was an important addition to the team.
‘In the past two years, the Maddocks Development team has grown from two partners to five and has led the industry with a range of innovative client solutions, such as Maddocks eContracts.
‘Maryam’s appointment is another signal to the property development market that we have the depth and breadth of experience to work on the full range of development projects in Australia.’
Maddocks is a proudly independent Australian law firm that works closely with corporations, businesses and governments throughout Australia and internationally.
