Maddocks partner wins client service recognition at global awards

Friday 9 February 2018

Maddocks partner and head of the firm’s Technology sector, Brendan Coady, has been recognised at the 2018 Client Choice Awards announced in London.

Brendan was named the Australian winner of the Telecommunications category. It is the fourth time Brendan has won this award.

The global awards, run by Lexology, recognise lawyers who add value to their clients’ business above and beyond other players in the market. It does this by surveying about 2,000 senior corporate counsel on a range of service criteria, including quality of legal advice, commercial awareness, industry knowledge and strategic thinking.

Brendan’s practice covers a wide range of technology and intellectual property matters, but he has a particular focus on telecommunications regulation and has acted for clients in the telecommunications industry for the last 20 years.

Brendan said he was honoured to have received the Client Choice Award.

‘Client service is at the heart of everything we do at Maddocks, and is integral to maintaining strong, sustainable relationships,’ Brendan said.

‘The most important part of this recognition is that it comes from leading corporate counsel, which shows that what we do as a firm is valued by those we deal with most closely.’
