Caitlin is a government advisory lawyer whose speciality of practice is primarily in freedom of information, privacy and surveillance. Caitlin provides sound advice to clients and representation at the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal. Key clients include state government departments, federal government agencies, local government and statutory authorities. She has a strong interest in information law and delivers FOI, privacy, information sharing and surveillance advice in line with the relevant state/territory legislative schemes.

Caitlin has extensive knowledge of FOI processing, practice and procedure, and is experienced in managing FOI complaints and reviews. Caitlin’s privacy work includes advising government agencies and statutory authorities on compliance and privacy considerations for projects, the sharing of information amongst government agencies, and assisting with responses to data breaches.
