About Francine

Francine is an experienced corporate & commercial lawyer specialising in healthcare and life sciences. She has a wealth of experience in commercialisation, acquisitions, divestments, investments and joint ventures for start up, venture capital, corporate, private equity and government clients. Along with extensive experience in healthcare transactions, she advises clients in the consumer goods, life sciences and technology sectors, with a particular focus on medtech. Her experience includes advising on complex domestic and cross-border transactions in Australia and the United Kingdom, as well as advising clients on corporate governance, commercial contracting and compliance matters.

Francine has also undertaken client secondments, with Johnson & Johnson’s Australian consumer products business and with Virgin Group in the UK, and is passionate about using her skills to support organisations making a difference to our community, including through pro bono work.

    Advised a range of clients on transactions in the healthcare sector, including in relation to day hospitals, medical and dental centres and diagnostic imaging.

  • Aged care providers

    Advised a number of aged care providers on the sale of residential aged care facilities.

  • Private equity clients

    Advised various private equity and financial sponsor clients on acquisitions, divestments and investments, including in the medical, technology, education and consumer goods sectors.

  • Pro bono and for-purpose clients

    Advised on a range of matters including funding and service agreements, licence agreements and equipment provision agreements.
