About Gareth
Gareth is a construction and projects lawyer specialising primarily in construction-related disputes, as well as design and building practitioner regulatory issues. He has acted for, and advised, principals, contractors, suppliers, owners corporations, government authorities and engineering firms in litigation across various Australian jurisdictions at all court levels, including in specialist construction lists such as the NSW Supreme Court Technology & Construction List. He also has experience in commercial arbitration and expert determination.
Gareth is particularly adept at security of payment adjudications, whether acting for claimants or respondents. He is familiar with judicial review applications of adjudication determinations, including in other jurisdictions, and with enforcement aspects of the security of payment process.
Gareth was formerly a Tipstaff to a judge in the Equity Division of the Supreme Court of NSW.

Acted in a Supreme Court of NSW matter for a global supplier of industrial processing equipment, pursuing a defaulting purchaser for unpaid industrial machinery worth several millions of dollars.
