About Kitty
Kitty is a commercial property lawyer with over 8 years’ experience in real estate law, and a former business owner with a strong passion for sustainability. Kitty has extensive experience advising on large scale and complex property transactions to a wide range of clients, including multinational companies, property developers, local government and Crown agencies, not-for-profit organisations, and Māori iwi groups. In addition to advising clients on buying, selling, leasing, developing and subdividing property assets, she has developed expertise in forestry, renewable energy projects and providing New Zealand emissions trading scheme advice prior to her move to Australia. Kitty’s longstanding involvement with a New Zealand start-up helped transform them into one of the country's largest private land holding companies. She takes pride in delivering tailored, strategic legal advice and consistently going above and beyond to enable her clients to grow their businesses and focus on their values and people. |

New Zealand Carbon Farming Group
Acting in relation to its NZ-wide permanent carbon forestry program (over 65,000 hectares of acquired land and 45,000 hectares of leased / partner forests). This includes negotiating and documenting the purchasing, leasing, subdividing and selling of rural land, advising on the NZ Climate Change Response Act, and acting on its sale of the Invest1 forestry portfolio to Gresham House (UK), totalling over 12,000 hectares of forest land.
