Angela is an experienced administrative and regulatory lawyer having worked in the state government regulatory environment for 20 years. She has extensive experience and expertise in litigation, investigations, dispute resolution and corporate governance in regulatory environments. Angela has provided advice to statutory authorities on a broad range of matters including registration and licensing, professional conduct, assessment of applications, investigations, compliance and enforcements matters, litigation, governance and commercial matters.

Angela has a strong investigations background and during her career she investigated many different matters ranging from professional conduct matters, fraud and sexual offences. Angela is experienced in managing investigations teams, ensuring investigations are conducted in accordance with relevant legislation and producing high quality investigation reports, recommendations and correspondence.

Her recent experience includes reviewing investigation reports, providing advice on the assessment and evaluation of evidence and critical gaps in investigations and conducting a confidential investigation into clinical governance failures at a major health service. She has also provided substantial advice in relation to the scope of new arbitration powers, ministerial guidelines and the interaction between conciliation and arbitration powers. Angela is also an experienced lawyer in the National Disability Insurance Agency’s jurisdiction managing merits review matters through alternative dispute resolution to hearing, and then appeals.
