About Natasha

Natasha is an IP litigator and registered trade mark attorney with over 7 years’ experience in IP Litigation in Australia specialising in both patent and trade mark disputes as well as competition and consumer law cases before the Federal Court of Australia.

Natasha has experience advising clients across the lifespan of their intellectual property rights. From advising clients on branding strategy and building their trade mark portfolio to guiding them through the registration process, Natasha has a deep understanding of how best to enforce those rights.

In addition to being involved in several Federal Court proceedings, Natasha has been involved with numerous contentious matters at IP Australia, including running trade mark oppositions and non-use applications.

• Arrotex Pharmaceuticals Pty Ltd (Federal Court)

  Acting for Arrotex in defence of trade mark infringement proceedings and breach of the Australian Consumer Law brought by FIT-BioCeuticals.

• Network Nutrition Pty Ltd (Federal Court)

  Acting for Network Nutrition in an appeal commenced by CIVC & INAO against a decision from a delegate of the Trade Marks Office regarding an opposition to Network Nutrition’s application for a logo mark containing the words “Champagne Seed Extract”.

• Airservices Australia (IPAUS)

  Acting for Airservices Australia in its non-use action brought by the client against a third party trade mark which is blocking the client’s trade mark application.

• Aristocrat Technologies Australia Pty Ltd

  Provides ongoing advice and assistance to Aristocrat in relation to its Australian trade mark portfolio, including drafting responses to trade mark examination reports, drafting evidence, drafting cease and desist letters, and conducting monthly trade mark watches.
