Maddocks has today received its 21st consecutive citation as a national Employer of Choice for Gender Equality from the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA), acknowledging the firm’s strong commitment to advancing gender equality through measurable action and continuous improvement.

This recognition reflects the firm’s ongoing efforts to meet WGEA’s benchmarks for gender equality, including leadership accountability, inclusive policies, flexible work arrangements and initiatives that enable people of all genders to participate and progress at every stage of their career. Maddocks’ approach to gender equality remains closely linked to a broader commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, ensuring our people can thrive and contribute meaningfully to the firm’s success.

By embedding gender equality into the everyday employee experience, we remain focused on our people and creating an environment that is supportive, safe and fair for everyone.

Chair of the Gender Equality Network at Maddocks, Anna Scannell, said:

This acknowledgement reflects the purposeful drive and focus to build a more inclusive and equitable workplace, ensuring our people not only thrive – but have a real sense of belonging.”

Maddocks’ Head of Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing, Marita Pascoe, said:

“Our focus is on continuous improvement, guided by data-driven insights and a clear, long-term vision for sustainable action.”
