Maddocks partners with AI legal platform Cicero

Maddocks will look to streamline the workflows of its litigation and investigations teams in a new trial of leading AI legal platform Cicero.
The AI-enabled technology owned by the platform Automatise enables legal professionals to automate intensive tasks such as document reviews and file searches and those involved lengthy investigations, saving time and resources.
Maddocks Chief Information Officer Brad Kay said Cicero’s ability to streamline processes would potentially be transformative for the firm’s legal teams: “We believe Cicero will provide multiple benefits to our people. We have been impressed by how responsive Joe and the Team have been to rapid change in technology. They have a very targeted approach to the use of AI and give us complete control of managing the privacy of our data end-to-end, making it an ideal addition to Maddocks’ existing toolkit to continue maximising efficiency and effectiveness in our processes.”
Automatise Managing Director Joe Rayment said: "We are delighted to partner with Maddocks as they explore the transformative capabilities of Cicero. By automating resource-intensive tasks and providing practice groups with a more efficient approach to document analysis, chronologies and investigation management, Cicero enables litigators to focus on delivering exceptional client outcomes.
“Our commitment to robust data privacy and user control underpins this collaboration, ensuring that Maddocks can confidently harness AI-driven innovation. We look forward to working closely with Brad and the pilot team to help them realise the full benefits of Cicero within their practice."
