About Anna
Anna is an experienced lawyer with a background in both private and public sector litigation. Since joining Maddocks in 2025, she has been an integral part of the Dispute Resolution and Litigation team, working on significant matters including the Brisbane Airport PFAS litigation against Airservices, as well as sensitive matters involving ComCover and pro bono clients.
Before joining Maddocks, Anna worked at a private firm specialising in insolvency, construction and commercial disputes. Prior to working in the Litigation team she worked in the Commercial team where she developed her skills in Contract and Commercial Law.
She began her legal career as a Judge’s Associate in the NSW District Court. Anna holds an undergraduate degree in Global Business and Management and is fluent in Russian.

Assisting with the ongoing PFAS litigation regarding historical environmental contamination at Brisbane Airport, including preparing interlocutory applications and witness statements, conducting legal research, and progressing litigation steps.

Providing advice and assisting the Commonwealth in respect of a damages claim for breach of privacy, resulting in a settlement of the dispute.
