Maddocks has acted for manufacturer Interpack on the acquisition of ASX-listed company Orora’s Wine Closures business in Australia and New Zealand.

The Victorian-based Interpack specialises in the manufacture and supply of closures and has been a pioneer in the commercial production of screw caps in Australia since the 1970s.

The transaction was led by Commercial Partner Damien Wurzel and Senior Associate Stephen Dyason, with assistance from Special Counsel Steven Tang and Lawyers Sophie Edgar and Cooper Smith.
