Maddocks appoints new People & Culture director

Law firm Maddocks has appointed Deborah Stonley to head its People & Culture team.

Deborah has joined Maddocks from law firm Norton Rose Fulbright. She had previously been Director of People & Development at Henry Davis York until that firm merged with Norton Rose Fulbright at the end of 2017.

Deborah is one of the legal profession’s leading human resources practitioners, with more than 25 years’ experience in law firm HR. She began with Maddocks today and will be based in its Sydney office.

Deborah said she was excited to have the opportunity to lead the Maddocks People & Culture team and make a meaningful contribution to the firm’s continued growth and success.

‘Maddocks is a firm I have always admired for its strong culture and values alignment and leading reputation,’ she said.

Maddocks CEO Michelle Dixon said Deborah was an outstanding appointment for the firm.
