About Edward

Ed is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution and Litigation team who has had experience with a number of private and public sector clients. 

Ed’s most recent experience has included various disputes in relation to contractual issues, franchisee arrangements, and alleged breaches of design and distribution obligations. Ed has had previous experience working with ASIC, assisting in multiple investigations.

• Mercedes-Benz Group AG (MBAG)

  Acted for Mercedes-Benz Group AG, a third-party in Federal Court of Australia proceedings, in a $650 million class action brought against Mercedes-Benz Australia/Pacific for breach of franchisee agreements by 38 of the 55 Australian dealerships. 

• NSW Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority

  Part of the team of team of solicitors assisting the 2024 Bell Re-Inquiry into The Star casino under sections 30 and 141 of the Casino Control Act 1992 (NSW), into whether the operator was suitable to hold the casino licence.

• Growland Group

  Acting for leading developer Growland in Supreme Court of Victoria proceedings relating to breach of contract, misleading or deceptive conduct, rectification and estoppel disputes.
