About Jennifer

Jennifer advises a range of government departments, statutory authorities, councils and universities in the acquisition, disposal, leasing and licencing, particularly in relation to public land. She also acts on all stages of procurement processes, drafting and negotiating complex agreements and road discontinuances.

Jennifer works with corporates, institutions and not for profits in all aspects of real estate transactions, particularly retail and industrial properties, development agreements, ‘off the plan’ sales' for both retail and commercial developments, including subdivisions and the establishment of owners corporations.

Experience

  • Monash University

    Advising on a joint venture project for the redevelopment of the University’s campus, including advice on EOI and RFP documentation, legal due diligence on leases and other encumbrances affecting title, the discontinuance of roads within the development precinct and negotiating and advising on the development agreement with joint venture partner.

  • Banyule City Council

    Advising on property development, probity, commercial and governance issues associated with joint venture partner. This includes negotiating contracts of sale, road discontinuances, resolving complex subdivisional issues, section 173 agreements, lease, licences, car park adjustments and construction documentation.

  • Development Victoria

    Advising Development Victoria’s predecessor on issues arising from the discontinuance of the Bourke Street Pedestrian Bridge as a road and transfer of land to the Spencer Street Station Authority, including advice on restrictions on the crown grant.

  • Glen Eira Council

    Advising council in relation to the expression of interest and tender process for a lease for commercial purposes of Crown land reserved for public park and recreation.
