John is a property development lawyer who advises institutional and private developers in relation to residential (including greenfield/master planned communities and apartment/mixed use developments), commercial and industrial developments. John’s work includes the acquisition and disposals of development sites and advising on all elements of the project development lifecycle, including managing contract preparation for off-the-plan sales and titled lots, preparation of leases and agreements for lease, contract administration, owners corporation structuring and subdivision advice.

  Assisting AVJennings with its Victorian land development portfolio including its greenfield development at Lyndarum North (comprising approximately 2,500 lots) and its development at Waterline Place, Williamstown, which includes both apartment and townhouse products totalling approximately 850 residences.

  • Advising ID_Land on a number of development site acquisitions.
  • Assisting ID_Land with its greenfield developments at Elements, Elements North (approximately 1,600 lots), Attwell (approximately 650 lots) and Watermark (approximately 550 lots).
• Stockland

  Advising Stockland on its 260 hectare, $2 billion development of Melbourne’s largest industrial park, including the preparation of master project transaction documentation and off-the-plan sales contracts.

  Assisting Jinding Australia with its Victorian land development portfolio which includes developments at The Patch, Octave at Junction Village and Harriott at Armstrong Creek.

• Cadence Property Group

  Advising Cadence Property Group on the sale of two industrial tenanted assets which involved the preparation and negotiation of sale document and settlement management.
