About Kelly

Kelly is a real estate lawyer (Qualified in England & Wales, not Australia) with extensive experience across all aspects of commercial property transactions. She advises clients on a wide range of matters, including the acquisition and sale of commercial and industrial real estate, as well as commercial, industrial, and retail leasing. Her expertise extends to general property work, including put and call options, licensing arrangements, and the preparation and negotiation of easements.

In addition to her property law expertise, Kelly brings valuable experience in the renewable energy sector, having worked on projects in both the UK and Australia. She has advised on complex issues such as pipeline regulations, capacity sharing agreements, and easements, supporting clients in navigating the legal frameworks that underpin renewable infrastructure development.

Experience

  • Retail Disposals

    (UK) Leading and supervising a cross-office team of 10 on a substantial portfolio disposal (112 branches) for a major chemist brand including drafting and negotiating the property documents and the property elements of the share purchase agreement.

  • High value development site

    (UK) Working closely with a partner to advise a master developer on its acquisition of a site that will see a major 20-year redevelopment of a previous airfield and barracks, which will provide 6,500 homes, five schools, extensive on and off-site cycle connections, public transport services and active travel schemes which included a complex lender certificate of title.

  • Secondments

    Undertaken secondments at both Shell International (UK) and APA Group (Australia) for a period of six months each gaining invaluable inhouse experience and developing my understanding of the renewable and energy sectors.
