About Larissa
Larissa is a construction and infrastructure partner in the Maddocks Government Law team in Canberra.
Larissa advises on contracting and procurement for construction and infrastructure projects, primarily for government. Larissa has significant experience advising major Commonwealth government departments and agencies, with deep expertise in project delivery models, procurement strategies, contract negotiations and advice on all aspects of contract administration.
Larissa’s areas of expertise include:
- Government procurement (particularly in the government construction and infrastructure context).
- Construction and infrastructure project development and delivery across the full range of project delivery models.
- Contract development, drafting and negotiation.

- Advising a Commonwealth Department on over 45 of its construction projects, across all delivery models and ranging in value from $50 million to over $2 billion. For some of these projects, this has involved advising over many years from project inception and procurement of initial consultants, to resolving final claims and disputes.
- Advising Commonwealth Departments on projects being delivered Australia’s pacific island neighbours.
- Advising a Commonwealth Department on various renewable energy projects and grant processes.
- Advising a range of Commonwealth Departments and agencies on commercial procurements in a range of sectors.
