About Terry
Terry is a Law Institute of Victoria accredited expert in the areas of environment land and planning law and local government law. His areas of practice include all facets of planning law, including areas of statutory planning and strategic planning, environmental law and planning scheme amendments.
Terry regularly appears before Planning Panels Victoria (PPV), VCAT and advisory committees. He has appeared in many panels concerning growth areas and is intimately familiar with the full range of issues that arise in planning growth areas. These include infrastructure funding or development contributions, public open space funding, transport planning, cultural heritage, drafting schedules for VPP planning controls for effective implementation of Precinct Structure Plans and drafting s 173 agreements for a wide variety of planning matters. Terry has also appeared in a wide range of other planning panels dealing with, for example, Public Open Space strategy implementation, Cultural Heritage Review Implementation, and Public Acquisition Overlay implementation. He is a skilled advocate.
