Acting on major NSW rail projects
Maddocks was appointed to act on the Blue Mountains Route Clearance component of Transport for NSW’s New Intercity Fleet Project.
The Blue Mountains Route Clearance component of this project involves the modification of tunnels, station platforms and rail lines in the Blue Mountains to ensure the new fleet of intercity trains could pass through current stations and rail lines.
This project is being delivered under a competitively bid alliance model. Maddocks was appointed to advise on the preparation of a Project Development Deed for each alliance to sign, the preparation of the Project Alliance Agreement, reviewing and advising on the commercial framework and request for tender documentation and assisting with negotiations with the Alliance.
