Maddocks has been advising St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne to assist with the negotiation and drafting of the term sheet and collaboration/partner agreement for the new Aitkenhead Centre for Medical Discovery.

The project is unique in that it will involve the creation (both physically and conceptually) of a new multiparty collaboration which will establish the first biomedical engineering research and education centre in Australia.

The project involves up to 9 hospitals, universities and research institutes as collaboration partners and is likely to include funding from private, State Government and Federal Government sources.

Our team is jointly led by partners Angela Wood and Alicia Sheridan, representing both the Healthcare Sector and the Infrastructure Sector.
