Maddocks advises Lifull Connect on strategic proptech acquisitions across Southeast Asia

Maddocks has advised global property technology group, Lifull Connect, regarding the acquisition of several Southeast Asian assets from Digital Classifieds Group – an Australian-headquartered marketplace operator that entered administration in March.
Headquartered in Japan, Lifull Connect’s strong international footprint has been bolstered with the acquisition of property portals in Indonesia, the Philippines, and Cambodia, complementing its existing platforms – Hipflat, dotProperty, and the FazWaz brokerage brand.
The Maddocks team was led by Insolvency and Restructuring Partner, Danielle Funston with assistance from Special Counsels James Hains and Andrew Ng and Lawyer Sophie Edgar.
Danielle said: “This deal showcases Maddocks’ strength in cross-border transactions and emphasises our capabilities in delivering agile and commercially focused legal solutions.”
