Mark advises Australian and international developers and investors on all stages of the project lifecycle. Mark has advised on all aspects of commercial property, including acquisitions and disposals, due diligence, structuring and staging, FIRB, owners corporation rules, leasing and lodging plans and subdivisions. He has advised on some of the largest and most complex residential projects in Australia and worked with developers including UEM Sunrise, Far East International, Setia and Fragrance Group on projects including Aurora Melbourne Central, Upper West Side, West Side Place and Premier Tower.

    Staged 4 tower mixed development including 2,400 residential apartments and retail components including preparing and updating master contracts of sale, preparing owners corporation rules, advising on owners corporation issues, reviewing and advising on section 173 agreements and negotiations with council.

    Tallest tower in the Melbourne CBD, mixed development including residential apartments, serviced apartments, retail and office components including preparing and updating master contracts of sale, advising on owners corporation issues, reviewing and advising on section 173 agreements and negotiations with council, preparing contract of sale for serviced apartments component and negotiations with purchaser’s solicitor, advising in relation to interface issues with Melbourne Central Station including reviewing, advising and negotiating Interface Agreement, easements and associated documents

  • 555 Collins Street Melbourne

    A proposed development where the client had entered into a large number of off the plan contracts but then decided not to proceed with the development and to sell the site to a third party. Work included advising as to ability to sell and risks in relation to off the plan contracts, drafting contract of sale and negotiating with purchaser and termination of off the plan contracts of sale.

  • Kempsey to Coffs Harbour Electricity Transmission Line

    Acting for TransGrid in he acquisition of over 300 easements, including drafting easement documents, access licences, contracts of sale, deeds of release, negotiations with land owners solicitors, monthly field trips to the locality of the line and presenting to land owners and solicitors at the commencement of the project.

    Acting for Bakers Delight in the negotiation of leases nationally including reviewing, advising and negotiating leases, drafting standard lease terms with large landlords and advising in relation to retail lease legislation.
