Breellen Warry recognised in legal industry rankings

Maddocks Planning and Environment Partner Breellen Warry has been recognised in Australasian Lawyer’s Elite Women rankings for 2024.
The annual rankings acknowledge female leaders who have made a profound impact on the field of law and their specific areas of expertise.
Breellen is a Partner within the Maddocks Public Law team in Sydney and leads the firm’s NSW State Government Sector. As a planning and environment law specialist, Breellen has advised on projects and developments ranging from waste facilities, schools, health facilities, infrastructure and urban renewal projects to residential and industrial projects. She has also drafted and negotiated some of the largest and most complex planning agreements on behalf of the NSW government, as well as having extensive experience in biodiversity conservation and offsets schemes. She is also highly experienced in planning and environmental litigation.
In addition to her reputation as a trusted strategic and legal adviser to local and State governments, and private sector clients, Breellen has also been recognised for her leadership style including as an influential mentor to lawyers, within Maddocks and across the industry.
