Inquiry into the drivers of philanthropic giving in Australia

In May 2023 we noted the Productivity Commission had commenced an inquiry into the drivers of philanthropic giving in Australia.
The Productivity Commission released its draft report on the Future Foundations for Giving on 30 November 2023. It’s open for written submissions until Friday 9 February 2024.
Also, on 1 November 2023, the Department of Social Security’s Community Services Advisory Group Blueprint Expert Reference Group released its NFP Sector Development Blueprint issues paper, which is subject to a consultation period closing on 20 December 2023.
