
Maddocks establishes new Operational Excellence function to focus on client service
Maddocks has today announced the creation of a new function to drive the firm’s continued efforts to modernise.
Maddocks has advised Real Pet Food on its A$243 million capital raise, enabling continued investment and growth in the Australian and other international markets.
The capital raise was led by the existing investors of Real Pet Food, including New Hope Group, a Chinese conglomerate with investments in agribusiness, real estate, chemicals and resourcing, and Singaporean State-owned global investment company, Temasek, as well as private equity firm Hosen Capital.
Real Pet Food is a leading, international pet food company with operating businesses in Australia, New Zealand, China and the UK and sells a range of products through grocery, pet speciality and e-commerce channels, including under the brands ‘Farmers Market’, ‘Nature’s Gift’, Billy + Margot’, and ‘Fussy Cat’.
Maddocks advised Real Pet Food on all aspects of its capital raise, led by Special Counsel Rahil Patel alongside Partners Arlene Colquhoun, Danielle Funston and Andy McNee with assistance from Mark Guttridge and Fumiko Baughan.
