Maddocks advised Australian telecommunications company Swoop Holdings Limited (ASX: SWP) on the sale of its wholesale voice business, Voicehub, to Pivotel Group Pty Ltd.

The strategic disposal is one of several transactions in which Maddocks has advised Swoop over the last three years.

Swoop is a telecommunications company that provides fibre and fixed wireless infrastructure across Australia.

Maddocks’ Corporate team first advised Swoop on two acquisitions followed by its merger and ASX listing in 2021. This was followed by a series of acquisitions focused on its core residential and SME focused business and associated capital raising.

The sale to Pivotel Group Pty Ltd provided Swoop with greater balance sheet flexibility and funding growth across its core business.
