Experience

  • Planning & Environment
    • Advising on statutory planning matters including planning permit applications, appeals and statutory interpretation under the Planning and Environment Act 1987.
       
    • Advising on planning scheme amendments and strategic planning initiatives, including the development and application of planning controls and broader policy and land use considerations.
       
    • Advising on matters arising under the Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006, Heritage Act 2017, and Environment Protection Act 2017.
       
    • Appearing in and assisting with proceedings before VCAT and Planning Panels Victoria, including hearings and compulsory conferences which concern a range of issues such as built form, heritage, transport, land use, drainage, native vegetation, and enforcement.
       
    • Assisting in the coordination and management of inquiry and advisory committee proceedings under the Environment Effects Act 1978.
