About Jeremy

Jeremy is a property lawyer who advises institutional and private developers on the full lifecycle of residential and commercial projects. Jeremy has extensive experience in preparing off-the-plan sales documents for land developments (including greenfield/master planned communities) and built-form residential and mixed use projects.

Jeremy assists clients with negotiations for the sale and purchase of commercial and retail properties and development sites, and negotiating leases for landlords and tenants. Jeremy has assisted clients with disputes across the property law spectrum and works closely with the Maddocks Dispute Resolution and Litigation team.

Experience

• Victoria Square

  Advising on all aspects of Growland’s landmark 6-tower mixed-use project in Footscray. Jeremy has responsibility for the day-to-day management of the project, including preparation of a suite of sales documents, development documents and Owners Corporation agreements and licences.

• Growland land projects

  Acts in all Growland land estates – Marigold, Botania, Banyan Place and Sundar – including site acquisition and sales to purchasers, assisting with project financing and preparing display village documents.

• CES (CEL Australia)

  Acted for CEL Australia, a subsidiary of Singapore-based multinational conglomerate company Chip Eng Seng Corporation Ltd, in the $65 million sale to Greystar Australia of South Melbourne site permitted for 722 apartments in three skyscrapers.

• Dahua

  Assisting in all aspects of Dahua Group’s Westwood Walk master planned community in Fraser Rise, including preparation of land, townhouse and house and land contracts, assisting in significant project finance and management of GAIC liability.
