Mark is a commercial lawyer with a focus on technology, media, entertainment and telecommunications. Mark advises government departments and agencies, technology-centric businesses and media organisations.

Mark has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, managing tender processes, and advising on the protection and commercialisation of data and intellectual property. He also participates in pro bono initiatives for sporting and arts organisations. Mark adopts a pragmatic, personable and client-focused approach aimed at supporting clients to make informed decisions.

  • Aristocrat Technologies Australia

    Advised on a number of its activities including negotiating agreements for the supply of its entertainment products, advising on the trial of its digital wallet technology and acting on its acquisition of a number of video game studios in Australia and overseas. Aristocrat is Australia's largest gaming machine manufacturer and the second largest globally.

  • NSW Rugby League

    Acted on the drafting and negotiating of various filming agreements for the 2022 – 2024 NSW Rugby League seasons.

  • NSW State Government

    Acted for NSW Health on the complex procurement of its single digital patient record (SDPR) solution.

  • Defence technology provider

    Acted for a significant defence technology provider on successfully negotiating and agreeing a multi-million dollar defence-related supply to the Commonwealth.
