About Tim
Tim assists State and Commonwealth Government clients on a wide range of environment, energy, administrative and commercial law matters. His practice focuses on complex regulatory and public law issues, including advisory and transactional work, with experience in litigation.
Prior to joining Maddocks, Tim was an associate to a judge at the Supreme Court of Victoria, and a solicitor at the Victorian Government Solicitor’s Office.

Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (Commonwealth)
Advising the Commonwealth Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) on the implementation of the Capacity Investment Scheme within Australia’s energy market frameworks, including preparation of tender documentation and contracts, drafting and negotiation of agreements, and advice on contract administration. Tim has also advised in relation to funding for national electric vehicle charging infrastructure and regulatory aspects of hydrogen energy.

Department of Industry, Science and Resources (Commonwealth)
Advising the Commonwealth Department of Industry, Science and Resources (DISR) in negotiations with multiple stakeholders for the environmental rehabilitation of the decommissioned Ranger Uranium Mine in the Northern Territory, including advising on statutory authorities and related instruments and contractual arrangements.
